She did an excellent job of describing the city's layout and history. She took us to places that we wouldn't have known to visit. The TAPAS TOUR was a standout experience. Our guide, Dan, was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging, offering cultural insights and culinary context that elevated the tasting. Each stop was thoughtfully selected and represented the diversity of Barcelona. We loved the restaurant where we enjoyed tapas for lunch. This was a delicious and memorable way to begin our journey. Dan has a great personality and can read the crowd and pivot to their energy. One of the best guides that I have ever had!
The WINERY TOUR was simply outstanding. We were so excited to have Dan with us from pick-up to drop-off. His knowledge and enthusiasm for food and wine, and the winery we went to, were so energising! From the scenic drive into the countryside to the intimate tour of the vineyard and cellars, every moment was carefully planned. The wines were exquisite, and the host's passion for winemaking was palpable. The lunch presentation and tasting were just divine. This was a serene and enriching escape from the city's bustle. I would definitely do this again on my next visit. I might even want to stay in the little town where the winery is.
Our COOKING CLASS was one of the trip’s highlights. Chef Ricard was not only skilled and patient but also charismatic and fun, and handsome! We learned authentic techniques for cooking paella in a hands-on environment and enjoyed a truly delicious meal that we had helped create. It was located in a cute little neighbourhood. My crew loved it!
